April Showers bring May Flowers!

May Flowers....

This wedding was so beautiful! The day was amazing and the evening, magical. The bride was absolutely stunning .....happy as can be! The location: The Parson's Table in Aledo - lush grounds with blooming roses and a staff that was more than accomodating. We outgrew the inside area with our guest list so we opted for a tented reception in the back of the property.
The lighting from the tent lit up the sky as the wedding party danced . Some guests spread out vintage quilts around the tent while others mingled at the guest tables. Natural decor with lush cabbage roses filled the entry and the guest tables. The wedding party took pictures in front of a rock fountain with floating flowers - and under an arbor decorated with twigs and bouquets of flowers. A large drink station with a vintage birdcage and natural moss/florals serviced the 500+ guest list. Thank you to all who helped make this event a success! Congratulations to Bride and Groom....your new adventure has begun.

Beautiful location in May....

Entry to the tented reception.....
Vintage florals and ribbon tied around a family Bible....
The Bride loves birdcages, so we incorporated them into many of the floral centerpieces.....
Floating flowers in the pond....arched florals made a beautiful backdrop for wedding party pictures.

Moss covered vases filled with tall curly willow and hanging candles.....mercury glass votives

The drink table had a fabulous centerpiece built up around a large vintage birdcage and urns filled to the brim with florals and moss...moss covered rocks and maidenhair fern was tucked in around the base.

Handmade birds with the couple's names painted on tattered canvas...small details that added magic to the night.

The cake topper was designed after the couple's dogs....special treat!
Beautiful family quilts were gathered and placed in baskets for guests to lounge on the lawn.

Even the extra set of restrooms were cute! The venue had a set of restrooms inside but the guest list out grew the capacity...we made every effort to make sure the guests were comfortable.
An artist/family friend painted this event schedule for the wedding day....guest were well informed even at the reception.

Necklaces handmade by a friend for the bridesmaids were a fanciful twist of vintage buttons, jewels and lace.
Farewell to an amazing night and an amazing couple! May God truly bless your days ahead.
